The Prosperity Automated System (PAS) - The Sales Pages

Once inside the PAS sales process, you will be welcomed by Dr Lieven Van Neste from 'The Mega Wealth PAS Group'.

Lieven has written a lovely welcoming letter including the wonderful promise that "Believe me - making money from home just doesn't get any easier than this"

Next, you are told a little about PAS including how it has been 5 years in the making and cost over $3million in development (!).

Again, the idea that this business is an automated cash-cow is drummed into you - PAS promise that they will sort through all prospects for you to "...weed out the tire kickers, so you don't have to - by talking with each prospect personally. This saves hours upon hours of phoning strangers and cold calling...something that is for most a major cause of failure..."

It is also here that you are told that you are not buying a product, as such, but purchasing the right to use their software for 1 or 3 years, depending on how much you pay.

The only time you will be selling a product is on your own product promotion page (page 3 of the sales process). When you promote PAS you are simply promoting the same "software licence" to another person who you wish to get in your downline.

Click next and you are showed to the "View My Product" page where the referrer has added a link to a different product which they may be selling.

If the member has not added a product then this page will push PAS on you more. For example:

"Make $3k to $9k+ Per Month from Home, PAS do ALL The Work For You, PAS Markets Your Product/s - and it Markets Itself Totally 'Hands-Free'" etc

The next page features the 6 minute movie "that could change your life".

This goes through how PAS works, showing how you can make up to $3,000 per sale AFTER your first qualifying sale (more later).

"Key Benefits" are covered on page 5. More here about the automation of the process and it even says 'With your Prosperity Automated System, all advertising is covered' although this is not strictly true as you need to pay more to have your site advertised - $190+ per month to be precise.... (more later)

Video testimonials appear on the next page with at least one person looking like he is reading from a script smiley face (Robert Hazenberg).

Page 7 features several written testimonials "received from delighted PAS Business Owners around the world. Again, these are all REAL people making REAL money and attaining REAL PASSIVE WEALTH from their respective PAS businesses..."

One testimonial appears from "Simon Johansson, L&T, London UK".

This is interesting as the domain megawealthy.com is registered to Lord And Thomas Corporate Logistics, London. Simon Johansson is famous for being the owner of Lord and Thomas and it looks like he is the creator of PAS along with Lieven.

Another testimonial is written by "Lieven & Barbara, Portugal".

If you look at the site for the first PAS member, number 172, then you can see in the bottom right that the owner is the "Lieven and Simon Mega Wealth Group". The second member, 174, is "Barbara Vervoort" - could this be Lieven's wife using her maiden name?

So, that is 2 testimonials from the creators of the scheme, they aren't exactly impartial are they?

Update:

In his May 2006 email, Lieven seems to be annoyed with other Prosperity Automated System members for advertising the scheme with articles on the web.

His email says: "How can one of these Sneaky Salesman steal your prospects?

"Easy...

"They simple make up a cutely written article, which never officially gets published, by anyone else than themselves. Then they proceed by pushing this article to the top of the search engine, by buying keywords that are strategically chosen to snoop away YOUR prospect. Some select the Keywords like PAS, MEGAWEALTH, PROSPERITY AUTOMATED SYSTEM, PROSPERITY NETWORK, PAS AUTOMATED MARKETING, etc,.

"So, see the pipeline? Your Prospect, who discovered PAS, because YOU paid for their lead, or YOU paid for a Postal Mail Out. This person is now naturally tempted to 'check around the web' to see if PAS is a decent and legitimate business. But, by searching on some of the obvious Key Words, YOUR prospects stumbles onto these articles, or onto very smartly put together websites, who make a lot of powerful promises.

"And VOILA, the victim is in their cobweb.

"And these vulchars know all to well, to quickly get on the phone with these prospects. They don't even wait till the prospect naturally submits a call back request. And all they need to do is promote YOUR prospect to fill out a CALL BACK REQUEST (of course on their own site) and BOOM, it is NOW OFFICIALLY (thanks to the new policy) NO LONGER YOUR PROSPECT."

He's obviously a little upset about this "new policy", whatever that is. What doesn't make sense is that Lieven seems to have a problem with people buying pay per click keywords about PAS.

Surely this is standard for anything promoted via the web? How can it be a problem? With any affiliate type program, the last affiliate link clicked on before the prospect buys is given the sale. Why should PAS be any different?

Although the MegaWealth website is very well designed, it seems that Lieven has lost sight of how things work on the web. It can probably be assumed that whoever actually owns PAS has changed the rules slightly and he isn't happy.

More important than Lieven's little hissy-fit, it's very doubtful that 80+% of MegaWealth and PAS sign-ups are happy as they haven't yet made a sale!
